BREW HOUSE

Our custom 10 barrel / 3 vessel Alpha brew house is the heart of our brewing operation. The process begins here when malted grains are milled, turned into mash and heated. This is where we get the chance to get creative or keep it traditional depending on the season and brew. Always being conscious of waste, our discarded grains are given to a local farmer to be used as feed.

FERMENTERS

We currently have 5 fermenters in the brewery. This is where yeast consumes the sugars to produce alcohol and carbon dioxide. Striking a balance between pressure, temperature and oxygen levels creates the conditions for an optimal fermentation process. Different methods of fermentation create ales vs lagers.

SERVING TANKS

We have 7 pressurized serving tanks that feed our taps in The Vanguard. Often referred to as “Bright Tanks”, this is where our beer lives during the final stage of production. Carbonation is added to the desired level and the beer maintains its fresh flavor. From here it’s poured for our patrons and packaged in kegs and cans to go.
